A 10 day long residency at Wellesley Hotel, Pune

Created during a two-week residency at Wellesley Hotel, A Shard of Dusk explores light as both a material and an atmosphere.

Inspired by the shifting colours of dusk, the work reflects on how the environments we move through quietly shape the way we perceive, feel, and inhabit space. Developed through experimentation and iteration, the piece marked a new sculptural direction in my practice.

In the pace of everyday urban life, moments of stillness are increasingly rare. This work offers a gentle interruption - an invitation to pause, slow down, and notice how light can transform not only a space, but the way we experience it.
